1. Annual Training of Dental Occupational Health and Safety

Dental practice owners and staff can meet the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Rule 1910.1030 and required training elements by attending this 4-hour seminar. Updates in infection control, chemical hazard communication and occupational safety will be provided. Practical applications, product recommendations, research and current trends of infectious diseases in dentistry

will be presented in an informal, relaxed and fun atmosphere. Continuing education credits will be provided and a certificate of completion awarded to each participant. Credits can be applied towards licensing required infection control education.

Topics covered will include Waterline biofilm guidance, Handwashing vs. Alcohol Handrub, Update on Hepatitis A thru Z, Chemical labeling and MSDS, Personal Protective Equipment, Proper waste disposal, Current CDC guidelines, and Latex Allergies.

 

2. The OSHA/CDC in Dentistry Show

 

This 3-hour seminar is designed as a comprehensive review of the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control in Dentistry and a practical application for the dental office. Course format is lecture and small group participation. It is designed to give you the recommended standard of care in promoting the highest quality infectious disease control for you and your patients.

Meets the training requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Rule required for all employees reasonably anticipated to be exposed to blood and/or body fluids in a dental setting. (This seminar does not include chemical labeling or MSDS education.) Continuing education credits provided and certificate of completion awarded to each participant.
